My mother and I have spent years together in our kitchen β tasting, adjusting, testing every proportion until it was exactly right. Not a recipe from a book. Not a formula from a lab. Real knowledge passed down through generations, refined with patience and love.

Our greens β keerai, moringa, mint, curry leaves β are procured directly from small-scale farmers in the delta region villages of Tamil Nadu. Freshly harvested, same-day sourced.

Most commercial powders use shortcuts β excess heat, UV drying, chemical additives. We do none of that. Here's exactly how every PODIKUTTY podi is made.
Freshly Sourced, Same Day
Greens and vegetables are procured directly from village homes and Thalaivasal market. We only work with fresh, seasonal produce β never frozen, never stored.
Hand Cleaned & Sorted
Every leaf, every vegetable is washed and cleaned by hand. We remove any damaged portions and ensure only the best goes into our products.
Blanched β Not Boiled
We blanch the greens briefly to preserve colour, lock in nutrients, and remove surface bacteria. No excess heat. No prolonged cooking. Just enough to prepare them perfectly.
Shade-Dried Indoors
This is where we're completely different. We never sun-dry our greens. No UV rays. No harsh outdoor heat. No contamination from dust, insects, or pollutants. Our produce is dried in a clean, shaded, indoor environment β slowly, naturally.
Slow Dehydration
After shade-drying, the produce goes into our dehydration machinery β set at low, controlled temperatures. We slowly draw out the remaining moisture without any heat damage. This preserves the natural colour, aroma, and nutritional value intact.
Ground & Blended
The dehydrated ingredients are finely ground and then carefully mixed with our hand-measured blend of spices and ingredients β proportions curated by my mother and me over years of tasting and refining.
